Professional Interests
Research interest includes improving cardiovascular outcomes in primary care with a focus on congestive heart failure and hypertension.  Research focuses on methods for improving physician compliance with hypertension guidelines and patient centered self management of hypertension.  Additional focus is on improving treatment in the African American Community.  Personal interests include sports medicine and health policy. Dr. Wexler is a High School Team Physician and an advisor to a US Congressman on health policy matters.
