Professional Interests
I am interested in teaching addiction medicine to all levels of medical education. I have worked since 1997 with Amethyst as their addiction medicine specialist diagnosing and treating patients with addictive disease and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. I started a new opiate addiction treatment called Suboxone Maintenance in central Ohio in 2003 and have also taught this treatment method to many other physicians. I am a consultant to the State Medical Board of Ohio and the State Nursing Board of Ohio in addiction medicine and work with recovering health care professionals in treating their addictions and returning to practice in recovery.
