Professional Interests
Fellowship training in Infectious Diseases allowed me to develop expertise in the areas of HIV, antibiotic resistant infections, and geriatric infections. As a Family Physician however, I strive to apply these skills in a broader context in the care of patients with diabetes and metabolic disease. Before my tenure at OSU East, I was in a busy urban private practice.
This allowed me to develop skills in diverse patient populations and to develop my interests in tobacco addiction counseling and preventative care. I also mentored and taught medical students and residents; this rewarding interaction has reinforced my desire to participate in the training of the next generation of physicians.
