How to Apply 2009-2010
To be considered for admission to The Ohio State University Rural Program, please submit an application through the
Electronic Residency Application Service (Program Number is 1203821640).
We are looking for those students for whom this style and setting of residency training represents a “good fit.” The best applicants will be invited for a personal interview at Mad River Family Practice. For applicants who also choose to apply to our sister programs, The OSU Rardin Family Practice Residency Program and the Ohio State University Urban Program (each of which have separate match numbers), we will make every effort to accommodate the timing of the applicant's interview at the other sites.

To be considered for an interview, international medical graduates must meet the following criteria:
- One year of clinical experience inpatient care in the United States
- A J-1 visa or eligibility for the same
- ECFMG certification by the time of match list submission to the National Residency Matching Program
