About the Department

Family Medicine/Geriatrics Faculty


The Department of Family Medicine at The Ohio State University seeks an experienced family physician that is fellowship trained and has a CAQ in geriatrics to function primarily in the Ohio State Family Medicine Residency Program, which will include responsibility for the joint administration of a Geriatric Fellowship Program with the Department of General Internal Medicine/Geriatrics. The successful candidate will demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching, research and scholarship, and service. Appointment level is open and can be in one of three appointment tracks, as appropriate to the successful candidate’s professional experiences and career aspirations: regular tenure, regular clinical, or associated clinical. Basic Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of Family Medicine residency training
  • Leadership potential
  • CAQ in Geriatrics
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine
  • Eligible for State of Ohio medical license
