OSU Family Medicine psychologists provide a full range of mental health treatment services, family and relationship counseling, and behavioral medicine treatment.

  • Mental health treatments include those for mood and anxiety disorders, adjustment problems, stress-related disorders, eating disorders, substance abuse problems, and outpatient support for dealing with schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders.
  • Family and relationship counseling activities include marital and divorce counseling, treatment of parent-child problems, and services for step- and other types of blended families.
  • Behavioral medicine treatments involve work with sleep disorders, sexual problems, weight loss efforts, somatoform disorders, the effects of chronic medical conditions, and psychological factors affecting medical conditions.
