Sponsored ResearchIndustry-sponsored research is a growing activity within the Ohio State Department of Family Medicine. This research is essential in finding new treatments, and perhaps cures, to some of today’s most debilitating diseases. The Department's physician expertise and diverse patient population provide a rich environment for such trials. In areas such as diabetes, hypertension, vaccines, and hyperlipidemia, the Department is a contributor in bringing new drugs to market.
