It was recently announced that
Dr. Kathe Mueller,
Dr. Michael Alexander,
Dr. Hosi Padamadan,
Dr. Liliana Gomez, and Dr. Alice Frazier have successfully passed their American Board of Family Medicine Recertification examinations
Family Medicine led the way regarding recertification on a regular basis when it became a specialty in 1969. Since then several other specialties have begun to require recertification. It is important to our Department that our faculty physicians remain current and fully certified. This is important especially for patient care purposes but also for the value in role modeling to our residents and the medical students that we teach. We appreciate their commitment to maintaining demonstrated competence regarding their practice skills and knowledge.
