Professional Interests
I have been with the Department of Family Medicine at OSU since July 2013. I am an Assistant Program Director with the Residency Program and an in charge of the Maternity and Women's Health curriculum. My clinical work is mostly at Rardin Family Practice but I also deliver babies with the residents at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. I am on several committees including: Women in Medicine and Science (WIMS) at the university level, OB quality committee at the hospital level, and Ohio Better Births Collaborative at the community level.  I am also involved in developing a Point of Care Ultrasound curriculum for our department.  In addition I am an active member of the STFM Family Centered Maternity Care Group - Nationally.

I recently moved back to Ohio from Tucson, AZ where I practiced full spectrum family medicine including obstetrics and newborn care.  I consider maternal and women's health my focus, but enjoy treating all patients, no matter of their age or sex.  I look forward to continuing to care for patients throughout their life, including doing OB deliveries.  I also have an interest in medical education, including resident and medical student teaching.  I enjoy the challenge of helping our future physicians to have the best training possible.
