Professional Interests
I am so excited to be a part of the Ohio State University Family Medicine Department, and to be working with the Integrative Medicine Clinic at Kenny Road. My passion is Integrative Medicine, and for me that means taking a holistic approach to patient care and combining Western and Eastern medicine treatment plans to optimize health. I finished my Family Medicine residency at East Tennessee State University in Bristol, TN. Before starting my career as a physician, I was an athletic trainer at California State University, East Bay in Northern California, and obtained a master's degree in Kinesiology. I went to medical school at the University of the East in the Philippines, and it was there I became more interested in Eastern medicine practices. I saw the importance of preventative medicine and focused more on a patient's nutrition, physical activity and well being. Before starting residency I took a year off and studied Medical Acupuncture at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. I look forward to incorporating all that I have learned over the years to provide the best health care for you and your family.
